This game is criminally underrated! Like, seriously. TL DR Recommended if you enjoy KSP, can accept viewpoints that might differ from your own, and know that failure is always an option. But I hope this will be patched in the future. So far a simple restart of the game has fixed to problem and it's not much of a hassle since the game saves the current state automatically and the load times are fast. The loading time also increased ever so slightly. But after a couple of launches there were some audio glitches when switching from the construction menu to the launch site and back. The sound design is ok as well, the music somewhat generic and nothing I'd listen to outside the game but it fades into the background easily enough.Ĭan't say much about the performance, I'm way above the recommended specs and it thus ran smoothly as expected. It's certainly good enough at its price point and given the fact that it's an indie title. There are some rough spots here and there but they can be easily overlooked. So if this is something you can't stand, think about, or accept as a viewpoint you should maybe stay away from this one. On the other hand, the game doesn't hold back on the social commentary and there's a fair bit of anti-establishment/cooperate culture/capitalism contained in the story, and it isn't subtle either. ![]() So you might get an extra chuckle out of that. There's a certain similarity to a movie director that doesn't understand fair use and tried to sue a YouTuber with a three letter acronym. The conversations are generally written well, there's some cringe but more due to the characters portrait, and more than a couple of references hidden in there. Some are somewhat fiddly though, there's nothing like finally dunking a rocket into that trash container only to find out that the ever so slightly to large to fit in far enough. In between the launches you get messages from viewers and other rocket builders that give you more parts and present you with different challenges, ranging from reaching a certain height to duct taping a rocket to a teddy bear. Their quality is rather poor though, mostly due to the heavy compression, and I wish there would be an option to up the quality. ![]() As a bonus the game will save all those little movies it generates, so you could take and share them if you want. After every launch you can upload a video of your launch to a video platform to collect views, subscriptions, and at some point money to buy more questionable rocket building supplies. Instead of stranding little green men on the nearest planetary body or fry them at reentry, here you get to play with model rocket kits and graduate to contributing to the Kessler-Syndrome with stuff you might otherwise find collecting dust in your garage. What do you get when you mix KSP with a social media / YouTube simulator and add some parts of an somewhat adventure-ish game to it? In 1945 part of the Old town hall was completely destroyed at the end of the Second World War. It has witnessed executions of a Hussite leader, participants of the Estates Uprising but also elections of a king of Bohemia.
